Exciting Discovery …

To borrow from The Daily Show, here’s your moment of zen.  This new archaeological discovery in Peru was reported this morning by Art Daily.

LAMBAYEQUE.- A pectoral which was found on 18 October 2011 in a tomb that belonged to a member of the elite of the Lambayeque culture in the first millenium AD, located in Lambayeque, northern Peru. A group of archaeologists from the Bruning National Museum found it after five years of excavations, according to its project director, Carlos Wester La Torre. EPA/ANDINA.
