Green Acres Saved! New Jersey Reverses Course and Will Not Demolish Site-Specific Installation

Green Acres – a site-specific installation by Athena Tacha located in Trenton, NJ. The site is owned by the State of New Jersey and was created and named in honor of the State’s land preservation program. The site had recently been threatened with demolition, but the State has reversed course and will now move forward with its restoration.

Green Acres, a site-specific installation in Trenton, NJ which had been threatened with demolition as reported earlier this summer in the Huffington Post, the Associated Press and news sources throughout the State of New Jersey, will instead by restored.  A coalition of organizations issued a press release this morning to say the site had been saved.
